Protecting God’s Children

All volunteers of our parish must attend a Protecting God’s Children class, a workshop intended to educate volunteers to recognize and prevent sexual abuse. Registration is required for the workshop and may be done online. After the workshop, you are asked to keep your training updated through monthly online bulletins, which are distributed via the email you provided when you registered, and annually seek re-certification. To pre-register and for monthly updates and recertification, visit www.charlottediocese.org/human-resources/safe-environment/ where you can find general information about the program and the location of the next workshop.
