Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A)
R.C.I.A. is available to those who desire to learn about the Catholic faith. Attending RCIA is an opportunity to learn what Catholics believe if you’ve ever wondered. It is an opportunity to strengthen your faith and draw closer to God. It is an opportunity to reconnect with the Catholic faith if you’ve been away for a while. It is an opportunity, should you choose after completing the class, to receive the Sacraments and join the Catholic faith. Whether you are Baptized, or not, in a different faith tradition, or were Baptized Catholic with no further faith formation, RCIA is the adult’s introduction, review and comprehensive study of the Catholic faith. St. Aloysius’ welcomes you to join our RCIA class any Sunday September through the Easter. We encourage you to come and sit in for two or three sessions. Drop in, there is no obligation, no commitment, your presence is all that’s required at first.
- Meetings take place most Sundays, September through Easter, from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM in the Joan of Arc classroom on the lower level of the church. The class is generally not held on holiday weekends, so please call the church to be sure the class is being held. If you have any questions, or would like to register for the class, please contact Joe Rybak, RCIA Facilitator via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (828) 584-1120.
