Volunteer Opportunities

We appreciate your interest in volunteering with our parish.  Below are forms and information that may be helpful to you as you discern how God is calling you to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.  For more information and assistance with filling out the forms, please call the parish, or email us!

As volunteers in the Diocese of Charlotte and of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, we all have a role in protecting children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

The diocese has adopted policies and procedures to safeguard those whose care has been entrusted to us. Please be advised that you must be a registered member of the parish in order to volunteer within the different ministries of our parish. All volunteers must undergo a Protecting God’s Children Workshop and submit for a background check. Click below to access all the forms, policies and other information for volunteers.

  • The Community Life Commission is responsible for connecting with social organizations and opportunities that allow us to serve those in need. Opportunities might include assisting with a Habitat for Humanity Build, a school supply drive, or a respect life event such as March for Life.
  • The Communications Commission is responsible for "getting the word out", so volunteer opportunities relate to everything from bulletin boards, to web sites, to social and interactive media.
  • The Family Life Commission is responsible for coordinating events that foster family. This includes volunteer opportunities such as coordination of the Mother's We Love Brunch, the Valentines Dinner & Dance, Marriage Enrichment Retreats and Workshops and Trunk or Treat, just to name a few!
