Finance Council

The Parish Finance Council is a consultative body established to advise the Pastor in matters pertaining to the financial affairs of the parish.  In meeting the parish mission and ministry goals, the Finance Council is directed by the values of the Gospel as well as by good business practices.  The Finance Council is responsible for working with the Pastor and Business Administrator to develop and recommend the annual budget to the Pastor for his approval.

Finance Council membership is appointed by the Pastor and requires that the candidate be a registered parishioner in good standing.  The candidate should possess an above average comprehension of financial management including, financial reporting methods and general accounting principles. The group meets four to six times a year.
